132 - If You Don’t Have A Transformation, You Don’t Have A Story; Disney Knows! ;)

Let’s talk about transformation, shall we? After all, it is THE most significant piece of storytelling; the foundation & ultimate base!

In today’s episode, we will be focusing on what transformation both sounds and looks like ‘ out in the wild’, Disney being our prime example!

For those who have watched a film by Disney or visited their theme parks, you will have experienced their emotive & stand-out storytelling. Specifically, they do a fantastic job at telling a story through their rides as you go in with this sense of foreboding, and then, by the end, you feel joy & magic. THIS is the transformation that Disney has mastered (danger to joy/fear to fun), and we feel as if we are a part of something happening! Take note, everyone!

A reminder that if you are not helping people feel something different, then you are not telling a story. Transformation is about change, and we WANT to change people’s feelings through storytelling.
