126 - From Unseen To Unapologetic W Deja Criston

Hi all! We are joined by the wonderfully energetic & open-minded Deja Criston on the podcast today, and it’s a great one! We talk through her big (yet passionate) abstract ideas, dig deeper into what her story is + the impact she wants to make, and ultimately find greater clarity together. 

Deja is the host of the ‘Learn It From Me’ podcast in which she focuses on strengthening your faith and relationships (w others & yourself). She hopes that by leaning into her vulnerable side and sharing what she has experienced in her own life, plus the lessons she has learned, will make a genuine impact on others who are currently experiencing similar situations.

We unpack Deja’s strong belief in living unapologetically, which leads into a story about a specific moment and person in Deja’s life, the latter being someone who helped her come out of her shell and feel seen. It’s a turning point in our conversation, and definitely the spark of a transformation arc! :)

When we bring up the topic of lack of clarity in storytelling, Deja reveals that it is in ‘who’ exactly she is speaking to where there’s a bit of uncertainty. We delve into this and chat about your audience being anyone who resonates with you, connects with your energy/message, and is asking for your help.
