Melissa Machat is a musical theatre enthusiast and star turned entrepreneur and speaker who founded Re-Align Coaching and Consulting. She helps awaken people to the realization they have been unconsciously chasing their entire life and guides them back to who they truly are and the dream life they desire to create. A multi-passionate Entrepreneur and Alignment Activator, Melissa is a certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner and has more than 13 years of sales experience, over $100 Million in Volume Sold in Residential Real Estate, and leads a multi-6 figure business that runs without her. With all her experience, growth, trials, and tribulations her ultimate mission is simple – to help others experience the magic of living a fulfilled and purely aligned life.

In our conversation together, Melissa talks about the need to prove oneself, and how we can be stuck in a consistent loop of proving ourselves to society and the people around us. She mentions that trying to niche your skills and desires down into something so specific can result in being boxed in, taking away from the journey to figure out who you are. Finally, Melissa shares that through all her various jobs, consistent hustling, and her journey towards growth, she still goes through moments where the proving it to owning it reminder is necessary. It’s so important to recognize when we are doing things for others, and not ourselves…the need for external validation can overtake the good transformations that are occurring.
